A Budapest Christmas...
After a couple of weeks of having adopted my Swiss identity and travelling solo through Eastern Europe, I arrived in Magyarorszag (Hungary). I was frightened not to speak a single word of Hungarian but super excited to see a familiar face after such a long time! Mal and I spent an awesome week eating langosh and goulash, shopping at the Budapest malls (the first real malls I'd seen in months!), pretending to cook, sight-seeing, and partying like the rockstars we are (yeah!).
After an eventful Christmas, much vodka, unicum and a couple of NCMOs, we parted ways. I was devastated. I left my friend and had fallen in love with yet another Eastern European city!
