While attending Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University, Meagan and I decided to take a break from the unforgivingly cold Russian winter to enjoy the warmth of the Egyptian Red Sea coast. Some of our daily activities involved laying by the pool at our four-star resort in Sharm El Sheikh, shopping at the 1001 Nights promenade, fighting for our lives at the buffet line (Russian tourists are nuts!), enjoying "Blue Hawaiians" at Hard Rock Cafe, eating snake with the locals during Ramadan (and adquiring the consequent ghiardia), declining numerous marriage proposals, and visiting the city of Cairo and the pyramids in Giza.
